On July 29, 2025, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed with iFlytek Co., Ltd. at its Hefei headquarters, and both sides inaugurated the “Chinese Education Smart Joint Research Center”. This marks a strong partnership between AI leader iFlytek and the national language service export base to explore AI-powered Chinese education and support Chinese culture globally.

Signing and inauguration

Representatives from the base and iFlytek VP Wang Zhanglong attended the signing and inauguration. Anhui Provincial United Front Work Department and the Chinese Language / Pre-college Education units participated.

Five cooperation areas

1. Platform — Joint R&D of a global Chinese education smart teaching platform, integrating teaching resources with iFlytek’s AI.

2. Resources — Co-build high-quality, localized teaching resources for different countries and regions.

3. Training — New models for AI-powered Chinese training for enterprises going global.

4. Forums — Industry summits on smart transformation of Chinese education, with global experts.

5. Research — Joint applications for national labs and major research projects; international academic presence.

Complementary strengths

iFlytek — A national leader in AI (speech, NLP, large models). iFlytek stated: “We are committed to ‘building a better world with AI.’ This cooperation will combine our strengths in speech, large models, and education to build an AI+Chinese education demonstration base.”

The base — One of the first national language service export bases with deep Chinese education experience. The base will combine this with iFlytek’s cutting-edge AI to deliver a replicable “HQU-iFlytek solution” for global Chinese education.
